Approach

Assess. Design. Transform. Advise.

Jeyancie connects evidence, governance and controls to the decisions leaders must make. Jeyancie stays with you from the first assessment through execution and ongoing oversight, so the plan becomes a working capability leaders can govern and measure.

Method

Five steps from what is true today to what leaders decide next.

  1. Step 1

    Evidence

Interviews, documents, environment review and use cases.

  2. Step 2

    Risk

Maturity, findings, exposure and control gaps.

  3. Step 3

    Design

Operating model, governance, standards and control architecture.

  4. Step 4

    Action

Roadmap, workstreams, priorities and progressive enforcement.

  5. Step 5

    Executive outcome

Decisions, investment focus, risk acceptance and Board-ready reporting.

Evidence over assumptions

A policy on paper is not a working control.

Jeyancie does not equate a policy, a tool purchase or a planned capability with maturity. Every area is scored on three separate questions, so leaders can tell what is documented from what is deployed and what actually works.

Design

Is the control defined well enough to address the risk it is meant to address?

Implementation & coverage

Is it deployed consistently across the data, users and systems in scope?

Operating effectiveness

Is there reliable evidence that it works, day to day, as intended?

Maturity model

Five levels, with targets set by risk.

Not every area needs to reach the top level. Target maturity is set by the risk each area carries, so investment goes where it reduces the most exposure.

  1. Level 1

    Ad Hoc

    Reactive and dependent on individuals.

  2. Level 2

    Developing

Capabilities exist but are inconsistent or incomplete.

  3. Level 3

    Defined

Standards, ownership and controls are documented and broadly implemented.

  4. Level 4

    Managed

Controls are measured, monitored and operating consistently.

  5. Level 5

    Optimized

    Risk-driven, automated and continuously improved.

Design principles

What every recommendation is held to.

Risk-led

Decisions are prioritized by business and data risk, not by tool availability.

Business-aligned

Controls enable the business use of data while reducing unacceptable risk.

Vendor-neutral

Required capabilities and outcomes are defined before any product is considered. Jeyancie does not resell technology.

Integrated

Data protection works as one ecosystem, not as disconnected DLP, DSPM, identity, privacy or AI projects.

Ownership-driven

Every capability has a clear strategic owner, operational responsibility and escalation path.

Measurable & implementation-ready

Designs include the metrics that prove progress and enough detail to move straight into execution.

How we work together

Clear roles from the first conversation.

Jeyancie leads strategy, governance, control design, prioritization, executive reporting and advisory.

Your teams operate and implement controls: engineering, infrastructure, identity, Privacy and Legal, GRC and application teams, based on the agreed scope.

Engagements are advisory. They are not audits, certifications, penetration tests, forensic investigations or legal opinions.

Next step

Not sure where to start? Begin with an assessment.

Jeyancie Consulting will help identify your highest-priority risks and determine the right path forward.
